About our Vegetarian Menu

If you've been to Bangkok Thai at Foothill Village in Salt Lake City, Utah, you've either seen this offer on your table or you are one of the many thousands who have taken advantage of a really great offer to try Utah's largest and best vegetarian and vegan menu.

This menu is based on our traditional Thai recipes which have then been modified by careful experimentation and substitution to produce vegan and vegetarian dishes, (a Vegetarian dish is made by adding egg to a vegan dish).

We have only offered dishes that retain a truly traditional flavor and appearance to the classic Thai preparation. We have chosen not to offer dishes that fall short of our high standards regardless of the amount of demand. We have chosen not to use the fake or mock meat, which though novel seems out of place in a quality restaurant. We do not offer several dishes which require either fish sauce or shrimp paste to taste and look authentic, such as number of curries or any dish with peanut sauce.

We also are strict in our preparation. We take extraordinary steps to prevent any cross-contamination such as use of color-coded cutting boards for vegetables, meats or seafood. We have installed a separate deep fryer which is used exclusively for vegetarian items. We use separate small woks and pans that are cleaned between uses for each stir fry, curry or noodle dish.

We use only top quality ingredients and careful attention to detail.
